A new day dawns...
Today was the first Monday since I started my new position at work that I actually felt relaxed going in to work. Normally I would be panicing about all the things I should have done on Friday and that are going to mount up all day. I guess I was relaxed because I knew Cullbo would be there working with me. I was actually a member of a team again. Before if somthing urgent popped up I would do it, and then have the stuff I was working on back up and by Tuesday arvo I would be flat out trying to deal with all sorts of idiots that need stuff done yesterday etc etc. There was no one I could get to do some of the work besides Steve, but he had his own shit to do like answer the phones etc.
Well today worked out pretty good I guess. Cullbo managed to pick up some of the urgent calls which let me deal with the stuff that had been getting pushed back all the time. I closed all my calls except the ones with service providers, which are out of my control anyway. I was still busy, but by the end of the day I had got pretty much everything I had to do out of the way. I had to stick around till 5:30 cos Caroline had lost her voice, thank God, and so there was no one to take the last hour of calls. Turned out the phone only rang once and I sorted that out pretty quick anyway.
I was stoked to get home and see the fam... specially my honeybunch...
I reckon Ill sleep well tonight not having to worry about what shit I have to do tomorrow... looks like the tides have turned.... sweeet!
