4wd
Well I got myself a 4 wheel drive last week and I bloody love it! Its a 96 Holden Jackaroo thats in pretty good condition inside and out and it goes almost anywhere.
On the weekend we took it for a spin and Im addicted! First we just took some dirt tracks and drove through puddles etc, until I found this big arse rock climb. I didnt make it but I gave it a bloody good go (I was the only one that would try it). At one stage I was rocking on two diagonally opposite wheels which was cool. Then we tool it to the old quarry and gave it a beating there. Wog boy got his bogged first and his missus went off crazy style... it was funny as. We had no real dramas getting it out and was a very good bonding/team building/fun exercise. Then a little later I got stuck coming up a bank after a creek crossing. We laid down heaps of rocks and my beast just climbed out of it with ease.
I have not had that much fun without alcohol in ages I think. Anyway Im addicted as I said and hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will get a chance to take it through some sand dunes and see how it goes then.
Ill keep you posted and upload some pics of the next voyage!
Ta ta for now...
