Adelaide Zombie Walk

Hi all,

Its been a while, for that my apologies.

Ive not been up to too much really... well a promotion at work was cool, Im now the technical lead of a team of 12. I get to do some pretty cool stuff now and work with the other teams in the department. Other than that, pretty much same ol' same ol!

One thing Im getting pretty keen about is Adelaide Zombie Walk, I have a site at the moment http://www.adelaidezombiewalk.org and will update as I have more info.

Basically it is a bunch of people dressed like zombies all walking through the city... sounds lame, I think not, Google zombie walks and people are doing it everywhere.

Anyway, just a short one today... catch ya soon.

On a more sober note

I think it is important for people to see the two films listed below. Im not really one to get sucked into conspiracy theories and such, but the evidence presented the the two films below is really too much to dispute. I highly recommend you having a look at these 9/11 based films and make up your own mind.

Pentagon plane crash?

9/11 Conspiracy (Loose Change 2nd edition)

Let me know what you think about these.

Cheers

4wd

Well I got myself a 4 wheel drive last week and I bloody love it! Its a 96 Holden Jackaroo thats in pretty good condition inside and out and it goes almost anywhere.
On the weekend we took it for a spin and Im addicted! First we just took some dirt tracks and drove through puddles etc, until I found this big arse rock climb. I didnt make it but I gave it a bloody good go (I was the only one that would try it). At one stage I was rocking on two diagonally opposite wheels which was cool. Then we tool it to the old quarry and gave it a beating there. Wog boy got his bogged first and his missus went off crazy style... it was funny as. We had no real dramas getting it out and was a very good bonding/team building/fun exercise. Then a little later I got stuck coming up a bank after a creek crossing. We laid down heaps of rocks and my beast just climbed out of it with ease.
I have not had that much fun without alcohol in ages I think. Anyway Im addicted as I said and hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will get a chance to take it through some sand dunes and see how it goes then.
Ill keep you posted and upload some pics of the next voyage!

Ta ta for now...

You know whats happy?

I cant talk proper.... Dont you hate when dodgey words come out of your mouth and you sound like an idiot? Here are just some examples of me not being able to speak...
Finish on the phone and instead of saying "See ya mate" dick head here says "Mate mate"... what the fuck is mate mate?
Today instead of saying "Do you know what is good?" fuck knuckle says "Do you know what is happy?" Certainly not the part of my brain that feels embarsement!!! Then there is Sin Die's "Ha'woe" whic was meant to be "Hello" but somehow got fucked up.
What about times when a swear word pops out in incorrect company, I recall once saying to a female user here at work that "Microsoft products could be a prick to install at times". I dont normally swear at work, and certainly not to users (about them yes) and even more so in front of a lady!
Oh well... have a happy day mate mate.

I promise.. must have been that bottle of bourbon before going), it was a pearla... sorry John John for the old squirel grip... I just couldnt resist! ;)
Well lots of drinks...bourbon, beer, port, mead, vodka cruisers, sambucca, & midori (soz Samantha!) and two 5 minute dance sessions before the bloody pubs closed twas a top one. Cheers to my peeps who made it, look forward to the next one!
